Verify a signed document
Drop a file received after a signature via RecrutIA (a PDF, or the HTML file of an offer letter): we tell you whether it matches, byte for byte, the document of a request signed by all its signers. The file never leaves your device.
Verification
No personal data is requested. The answer only states whether the document is signed, by which organisation, under which reference and on what date.
How does it work?
Every document sent for signature gets a SHA-256 fingerprint: a string of 64 characters that changes if a single byte changes.
This fingerprint is checked at each signing and then sealed in the evidence log: the verification above uses this sealed value.
Here, you recompute your file's fingerprint and compare it with documents signed by all parties.
A simple electronic signature serves as evidence of the consent of signers identified by their email (or phone); it is not a qualified signature. A PDF that has been printed, rescanned or re-saved has a different fingerprint: use the original file. For an offer letter generated by RecrutIA, use the HTML file downloaded from the signing page: a printed copy or a copy saved as PDF also has a different fingerprint.
